In Nigeria there is an increased smartphone penetration with an estimated 43.7 million users by 2019 and beyond as mobile carriers encourage uptake and consumption of mobile data. Local consumers will begin to take advantage of “mobile-first” strategies adopted by the private sector, as services such as banking and retail are made available to smartphone users.

As is the case in all high-tech markets, tablets have grown exponentially since their introduction in Nigeria and the trend is expected to continue doing a similar path in the coming years. Their success in the computing space has been driven primarily by their mobility benefits, touchscreen technology, and competitive price points, all of which is characteristics of the Gospell Digital Technology offering.
